I grew up knowing God. Faith was part of my life from the beginning, but as I entered adulthood, it slowly moved away from the center. I never stopped believing. I simply stopped making that relationship the foundation of my life.
Then came a season that changed me. Through some of the hardest years of my life, I learned what it feels like to lose pieces of yourself—and what it means to slowly find them again.
Somewhere in that healing, my relationship with God became different. Faith was no longer simply something I had grown up with. It became personal. I began to understand that even when I had drifted, God had never stopped reaching for me. And little by little, I began opening my heart again.
